UPDATE: Because of Halloween, the second and third class have been pushed back by a week to November 7 and November 14th respectively.
In this three-class lecture series you will learn what Anthroposophy is and how it can help you become more aware and conscious of subtle aspects of your life. Each class will cover some basic concepts as well as introduce practices to develop concentration and awareness.
This class requires no prior familiarity with Anthroposophy, or adherence to any faith or religion. Its goal is to empower each individual to seek further development at their own pace and comfort level and is intended to be a precursor to other classes that AIT offers.
Concepts that will be covered:
- Developing self-awareness and the modern path of initiation
- Conscious thinking, feeling and willing as guides to our soul
- Understanding the balance between spirituality and the materialistic world
Classes will be held in the Eurythmy room on the first floor of the Waldorf Academy.
- Tuesday October 24, 7:30-9 PM
- Tuesday November 7, 7:30-9 PM
- Tuesday November 14, 7:30-9 PM
